Job Responsibilities:
-Cleans and wipes all windows, doors, walls, closets and fixtures in guest rooms and hallways
-Dusts and polishes all furniture, fixtures and wall hangings
-Washes and disinfects shower walls, tub, toilets, sinks and hard floor areas
-Replaces towels, soaps and all room amenities
-Strips bed of all linens and remake with fresh linens
-Checks cloest for cleanliness and restock needed guest room supplies
-Vacuums guest rooms and hallways
-Inspect all room equipment to ensure they are in proper working order
-Restock housekeeping cart
-Interacts with guests in a friendly, courteous manner at all times.
 
Requirements:
-Must be able to work mornings
-Must be able to work weekends
-Must be able to climb stairs
-Must pass pre-employment drug screening
-Must pass background screening
-Previous housekeeping experience preferred

-Delivers clean linen to housekeepers and stocks housekeeping carts.
-Restocks clean linen and supplies in laundry room and supply closets on each floor; receives, replenishes and puts away new supplies and amenities.
-Collects garbage and recyclables from guest rooms and supply closets, depositing in appropriate receptacles for pick up.

Laundry

 The Best Western Plus Heritage Inn is seeking a PT laundry attendant.

Job Responsibilities:

-Sort linen, screening for damage and stains
-Treat and pre-soal stained linen and pull out damaged items
-Process sorted linen utilizing washers, dryers and other laundry equipment
-Maintains laundry room in a clean and safe condition
-Notifies supervisor about malfunctioning equipment or needed supplies to ensure laundry operation is running at maximum level of efficiency

Additional duties and responsibilities:
 
-May be required to perform Room Attendant duties

Continental Breakfast Host/Hostess

The Best Western PLUS Heritage Inn is seeking a friendly, energetic part time Breakfast Host/Hostess.

Lead Engineer

The Best Western Plus Heritage Inn is seeking a full-time Lead Engineer to join our team. 
 
Job Description:
 
Performs general and preventative maintenance of all equipment, physical structures and
landscaping in compliance with corporate/franchise standards to protect the asset, ensure
optimum operations and maximize guest satisfaction.
 
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
 
1. Performs general and preventative maintenance of all hotel equipment including
kitchen, laundry, boiler, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, elevators and facilities
including public spaces, guest rooms, pool and spa.
2. Maintains complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment and
proper chemical handling and chemical safety procedures.
3. Maintain timelines and work schedule as directed in accordance with preventative
maintenance program in guest rooms, coordinating with the Front Desk Manager, and ensuring that Preventative Maintenance Inspection
Worksheet is completed for each guest room.
4. Completes work orders and maintenance requests, giving priority to guest
requests and maintains required logs.
5. Cleans and maintains pool and spa, monitors and maintains proper chemical
balance of water, updates pool logs and records.
6. Participates in hotel safety program and observes safety procedures to maintain an
accident free environment.
7. Participates in hotel fire and life safety program and responds to emergency
situations including fire alarms, power failures, inclement weather and floods as
needed.
8. Maintains cleanliness and organization of work area to include taking inventories,
stocking supplies and trash removal and clean up.
 
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge of:
1. General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting and carpentry
required.
2. Wall paper and carpet repair skills preferred.
 
SKILLS AND ABILITY TO:
1. Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance
instructions and procedure manuals.
2.  Write routine reports and complete logs.
3.  Communicate effectively in a courteous manner with guests and staff and
maintain positive guest relations at all times.
4.  Add, subtract, multiply and divide using units of weight measurement, volume
and distance.
5.  Work independently and as part of a team to complete daily activities according
to work schedule.
6.  Meet attendance requirements with dependability and consistency.
Education and Experience
7.  Three years experience in building maintenance and/or general construction or
equivalent combination of experience and education.
8.  Previous experience in hospitality at a similarly sized property highly preferred.
9.  Previous preventative maintenance experience preferred.
 
 
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Heavy Work: Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds
of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Must be able to see, walk, stand, bend, climb, balance, lift, carry, crouch, kneel, push and
pull
